Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the owner and operator of Lodging TX Analytics(“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Lodging TX Analytics and the website at lodgingtx.com(the “Service”).
Information we collect
Account & profile information you provide: your email address; a password (stored only as a secure hash) or a Google sign-in identifier; and, optionally, your name, phone number, mailing address, city, state, your role (e.g. owner, broker, investor), and company.
Referral information:a referral code we generate for you, and — if you arrived through someone’s referral link — a record of who referred you.
Payment information: handled by our third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number — only limited billing status (e.g. plan, subscription state) needed to manage your subscription.
Usage & technical information: generated as you use the Service — such as searches you run and hotels you view — and standard logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Note: the Texas-reported hotel revenue figures in the Service come from public government records and are not personal information about you.
How we use information
To operate and provide the Service; authenticate you and keep you signed in; process subscriptions and payments; send transactional email (verification, receipts, referrals); respond to support requests; run our referral program; monitor performance, prevent abuse, and secure the Service; improve our product; and comply with law.
Cookies
We use a first-party, essential cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived cookie to credit referrals. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell your data to advertisers.
Service providers we share with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with vendors who help us run the Service, under confidentiality obligations, and only as needed:
- Payment processing — a third-party payment processor bills your subscription and handles your card details.
- Email delivery — a third-party provider sends our transactional and referral email.
- Sign-in — an authentication provider for the optional single sign-on.
- Infrastructure — reputable providers for application hosting, database, DNS, and inbound email routing.
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, and in connection with a business transfer (e.g. merger or acquisition).
Data retention & security
We retain account information while your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices & rights
You can view and update your profile on your Account page, and change or cancel your subscription there. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us; we will honor such requests as required by applicable law (deletion is subject to records we must retain for legal or accounting purposes). You can stop referral or other non-essential emails at any time.
Children
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “updated” date above and, where appropriate, additional notice.
